Breakfast For The Kids is our annual fundraising event and a morning we look forward to all year.
This year, 245 members of the Kent and Covington communities packed in to the Kent Phoenix Academy gymnasium to such individuals as Kent School District Interim Superintendent Dr. Tony Apostle, Kent City Council President Dana Ralph, and Kent Parks and Recreation Director Jeff Watling, as well as a panel of six high school students from Kent Phoenix Academy, Kent-Meridian High School, and Kentlake High School.
We shared some laughs, shared some stories, and wrote large checks in support of integrated student services for the students in the Kent School District.
