In November we took 20 girls to a conference put on by the Seattle Storm to talk about financial literacy, leadership, and developing a confident mindset. Storm Guard Nika Muhl dropped by to share her insights with our students.
Coats for Kids
On November12th we had our annual Coats for Kids at Panther Lake Elementary. In partnership with the Knights of Columbus, every Kindergarten and 1st grade student went home with a new winter jacket and handmade beanie!
Community Meals
In partnership with Ubuntu Street Cafe, we give out 25 freshly made meals a week to families in the Kent School District. So far this year we have delivered 300 meals to local families.
